Christmas begins with Christ, it always had!

Christmas begins with Christ, it always had!

Who or what do you celebrate this Christmas? Your family, your accomplishments, your time off? Or maybe nothing at all?

The festive celebration of the Christmas holiday has deteriorated so much in the past couple of decades, that I am astonished at why people even bother? Christmas began with Christ even though many now deny that. It is reality, and a well known fact that Jesus walked this earth. And whether or not the world accepts that, Christ is celebrated at Christmas.  Without Christ there would not be Christmas.

Now, we often lose focus with all the preparations and forget to welcome Jesus in our inn at Christmas; and I think that is what happened in recent time, people have forgotten and now simply deny Christ. After all, Jesus is what Christmas is all about! The entire world calendar changed because of His birth! His tomb is empty and no one denies that! The Messiah was born in a manger and He is real, and yet the world is blind just as it has been 2,000 years ago… There was no room for Him then, and there is not much too for Him now either.

But we will still celebrate Christmas with joyful hearts, and keep the memory of Jesus’s birth alive! By keeping Christmas festive we rejoice and tell the world that Jesus was born in a manger, lived among us and paid for our sins with His life, rose again and has prepared a place for us! He will come again to take us home!  And that is an inexplicable and joyful reason to celebrate!!

No, we don’t know the exact date that Jesus was born on, but isn’t it wonderful that the entire world still celebrates Christmas at a very specific time every single year…? And in actuality the world celebrates Jesus’s birth whether they agree with that or not! It makes me want to scream of joy, and yes I may look crazy but WHO CARES! So let’s get festive for Jesus, let’s not hinder His sparkle in the darkness… He is the light and will always be no matter how dark the world!

Christmas carols are blasting loudly in my kitchen, windows are open so all can hear 🤗 cabbage rolls are in the making, soup is simmering, cookies to be made while my heart sings to Jesus! He deserves the biggest feast of all!!!! And, yes, we get festive at Christmas and every single Christmas, but let’s not lose focus… do it all for Him for “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24)

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas; and make sure you leave some room in your inn for Jesus… ❤️

And to all my Romanian friends, here’s what my ears, mind and hear are enjoying loudly in my kitchen… Thank God for sub-woofers and awesome sound systems! I can hear every instrument, the high and low notes, the voices, the message… feels like heaven here 😁
