Yesterday I decided to sow some herb seeds outside in my outdoor garden boxes which my dear husband put together for me a few years ago. However… the spring heat is still not even close just yet and we are talking about mid-May here? Well, instead of being put off by it, I decided to buy some galvanized window sill trays to put on my window sill.  They are pretty long so all my favourite herbs would fit nicely and adorn my sill beautifully at the same time!  I love plants, flowers, and any living plant! So I cannot wait for these fragrant herbs to pop out of that rich soil and to snip often for flavouring my dishes! Snipping them (or trimming) often also promotes growth, giving you a fuller plant and a longer plant life.

Also make sure you group them together by type and need if you plan to plant them together in the same pot(s). Here is a useful link to help you sort them out.  It literally took me 15 minutes from start to finish, so it is possible even with the craziest of schedules. Just make sure you keep the soil moist so the seeds would sprout nicely.
